The bank’s existing workspace faced space constraints for its expanding data center infrastructure. To overcome this, the bank planned to relocate its data center to a larger facility. The relocation involved over 250+ IT assets, including servers, racks, storage systems, routers, switches, and firewalls.
The primary challenges included:
- Ensuring business continuity during relocation.
- Achieving minimal downtime for critical operations.
- Preventing any damage or data loss during transit.

Our team executed the relocation in three carefully planned phases: critical, non-critical, and medium-critical assets, ensuring systematic handling and smooth transition.

- Tagging & Documentation: All equipment was tagged, grouped, and documented with detailed port tracing for error-free reinstallation.
- Safe Dismantling & Packing: Servers and networking devices were carefully dismantled and packed using protective materials like bubble wrap, thermocol, and cartons.
- Secure Transit: Specialized double suspension trucks were used to safeguard sensitive equipment from shocks and vibrations during transport.
- Precise Reinstallation: Assets were remounted as per the bank’s rack elevation plan, with cabling connected to their designated ports.
- Phase-Wise Execution: The staggered approach minimized downtime, ensuring seamless business continuity throughout the migration process.
